Nominated for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year, The Pirates! director Peter Lord and producer, Julie Lockhart were both out in LA and so missed the Royal Television Society West of England Awards.

Held at the Old Vic theatre in Bristol, the glamorous event was dubbed the ‘Broscars’ and The Pirates! walked away with the Best Film trophy.

As one of the films Art Directors, I spent 2½ years at Aardman , producing over 350 drawings for 13 of the sets.
